Hochschule Harz
is a University of Applied Studies and Research. It offers Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes in the following faculties: Business Administration (International Tourism Management, Service Management, International Business Administration, Business Psychology), Engineering and Computer Sciences, Public Economics (International Business Law, European Administration Management).
Hochschule Harz is integrated in an international network of 56 universities and polytechnics. That network includes the exchange of teaching staff, students and researchers. The Business Administration faculty runs programmes that apply e-learning elements and has developed a web based platform that can flexibly be used for business simulations of all kind. The Computer Sciences department is an active part in the “virtual computer science” programme. That network of universities offers a course programme to students who study completely via the www.
Harz will be a coordinator of the work package three. The platform (Hephaistos) is physically located in Harz server and Harz will be the closest contact point with the sub-contractor in Germany.

BTI Business Tools for Innovation Management Consulting GmbH
This enterprise partner was established in 1997 by Michael Gebel and Thomas Walter. Both are business graduates with several years of experience in business consulting and management training. Since 1998 Ottmar Schneck, Professor at the European School of Business, joined the team and guarantees for the quality of BTI-products and services in didactic and content. BTI supports VIRBUS with their management know-how, interactive learning methods, training experience and a growing international network of professionals and partner-network.
BTI will advise the project in the technical and pedagogical development phases of the VIRBUS simulation. BTI has a role in the further use / distribution of the complete product VIRBUS.Website: www.bti-online.com
